The final report for the Cowboys at Vikings is in, but the wait for Dak Prescott to be declared fit to play goes son.

All week long, it’s been a guessing game about the status of Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his injured calf. During the bye week, reports from the likes of Jerry and Stephen Jones made it seem like a given that Prescott would play on Halloween night against the Minnesota Vikings. As this week has progressed, there has been more doubt about Prescott playing with the player even saying it’s not totally in his control.

The Cowboys didn’t actually practice on Friday, but they are required to turn in an estimated injury report and they are required to designate players as either questionable, doubtful or out. The report has Prescott listed as questionable.

It’s likely that we won’t know anything definitive until Saturday afternoon at the earliest. The Cowboys could even stretch this out until game time before making a decision. Prescott’s long-term health will be the overriding factor. In the meantime, they are getting Cooper Rush ready in case he is needed. One bad sign for Prescott’s availability would be his soreness on Friday.

As for other players with injury designations through the week, it shakes out like this: Tyron Smith and Dorance Armstrong are both listed as questionable. Obviously not having Tyron Smith would be a big deal, but at least La’el Collins is available if needed.

For those wondering, it doesn’t look like Michael Gallup will be a go on Sunday.

For the Vikings, defensive tackle Michael Peirce is out, defensive end Patrick Jones is doubtful, and wide receiver Dede Westbrook is questionable. Tight end Ben Ellefson was put on IR earlier this week.
