The latest news as the Cowboys prepare to battle the Vikings.

As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for their upcoming game on Sunday night versus the Minnesota Vikings, everyone wants to know the status of quarterback Dak Prescott. The Cowboys signal-caller is nursing a calf strain and it was thought we might know his game status Saturday afternoon. That doesn’t seem to be the case as the team is going to wait until game time to make a decision.

The Cowboys could either be engaging in a little subterfuge to keep the Vikings guessing, or they could genuinely be waiting to evaluate Prescott before the game in an effort to determine if he will play or not.

The Cowboys also made another move on Saturday, finally activating rookie cornerback Kelvin Joseph.

If Joseph does make his debut, it will likely be on special teams. Cornerbacks coach Al Harris made it clear that is where Joseph would start making inroads toward playing time. Still, it’s nice to get the rookie on the playing field.
