Dak Prescott and DaRon Bland have picked up top honors in the NFC for the month of November.

The Dallas Cowboys play against the Seattle Seahawks tonight which is Thursday, November 30th. This evening’s game marks the final NFL contest in the month of November, and even though it has not technically happened yet, the league seems to feel comfortable calling the fight for players of the month. Based on their selections it appears that two Cowboys would have only added to their cases.

Dak Prescott was named NFC Offensive Player of the Month and DaRon Bland was named NFC Defensive Player of the Month.

Obviously the only thing that would have made this cooler is if Brandon Aubrey had won Special Teams Player of the Month, but missed extra points will hold you back for stuff like that.

Nevertheless, how awesome is this? As Cowboys PR notes this year’s Dallas team is the only one to pull off a double hit on this award in the same month besides the 2018 Los Angeles Rams (who reached the Super Bowl by the way).

Bland has started to become a household name with his propensity for interceptions returned for touchdown as he set the single-season record last week. On the other side of the ball Prescott is playing like the league’s best quarterback and finally received some kudos as a result.
