Damien Lewis returns to practice as Quandre Diggs gets the day off

Damien Lewis is the most experienced member of the Seahawks offensive line, and it appears he is in line to play Sunday against the Ravens.

The 2023 NFL Season will reach its midpoint at the conclusion of Week 9, and for the Seattle Seahawks that means one more trip to the Eastern Time zone this season. At least during the regular season.

In Week 9 the Seahawks will take on the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium, with both teams looking to hold on to first place. When the Seahawks take the field for the 1 pm Eastern kickoff, the offensive line could be as healthy as it has been since the start of the season, as both of the Week 1 starting guards were full participants in practice Friday.

With Charles Cross hitting stride after returning from a sprained toe, and Damien Lewis and Phil Haynes both full participants Friday, it appears likely the only starter on the offensive line that won’t be available for the game is right tackle Abe Lucas who remains on injured reserve. Haynes was listed as questions, so it’s possible he could be held out of the game, but with Anthony Bradford limited in practice both Wednesday and Friday and a non-participant on Thursday, Haynes seems the most likely bet to be at right guard to open the game.

Quandre Diggs was the only member of the team who did not practice Friday, but that was not injury related and was simply a veteran rest day, so there should be no concerns regarding his availability come Sunday.
