Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa is excited about his future in Miami

But based on how the 26-year-old has continued to handle himself heading into a big season, you wouldn't be able to tell.</p> <p id="o0gVu9"></p> <p id="h9Lw1K">At his third annual “Luau with Tua” event, hosted by the Tua Foundation, the Dolphins’ star quarterback answered an array of questions ranging from anything under the sun, including <a href="https://www.thephinsider.com/2024/4/11/24127920/report-dolphins-qb-tua-tagovailoa-wont-hold-out-from-otas-amid-contract-rumors-2024">his contract situation</a>, his new quarterback coach (<em>Spoiler Alert: It’s John Beck</em>), and some of his goals this offseason. So, I definitely call this home...”</em></p> <p id="FpXNXB"></p> <p id="iEGcSY">It has been a busy offseason for Tua, who continues to work hard to refine his skills. As mentioned earlier, he’s working with John Beck and Tom House at 3DQB this offseason and hopes to continue to build upon the league-leading season he had in 2023. But at the end of the day, only one thing really matters for Tua and the fanbase, and it’s not individual accolades. It’s playoff wins and division titles. </p> <p id="pjfLRL"></p> <div id="N39mcO"><div style="left: 0;width: 100%;height: 0;position: relative;padding-bottom: 56.25%"></div></div> <p id="EltrpP"></p> <p id="I1R4nL"><em>“Individual accolades are super cool,”</em> Tua said before Miami’s 26-7 WildCard loss to the <a href="https://www.arrowheadpride.com/">Kansas City Chiefs</a>. <em>“They’re awesome. But if we could’ve won all our games, I would’ve traded that for that. if I would’ve thrown for 200 yards the entire season and we would’ve been 17-0, I think anybody would’ve done the same. Yeah, it’s cool, but that doesn’t mean you won or you accomplished what you wanted to accomplish as a team.”</em></p> <p id="HUe2qG"></p> <p id="2pDf0X">For the first time in a long time, I feel like the Dolphins have a legit quarterback.
