The Seattle Seahawks stink right now. At 2-5 and with a backup quarterback who plays like one, the playoffs look unlikely and you cannot earnestly pick Seattle to comfortably beat any team in the league for as long as Russell Wilson is out.

But even with this 0-3 stretch, the Seahawks are still the betting favorites against the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are coming off a bye after their buzzer-beater win over the Miami Dolphins.

DraftKings Sportsbook actually had the Seahawks as the standard 3-point home favorites prior to Monday night, but the re-opened odds have Seattle favored by 3.5 points. The over/under on overall point total is 43 points, which Seahawks games have hit on the nose twice this season (vs. Rams and at Steelers) and then were way under that total against the New Orleans Saints.

For curious observers, the Seahawks did cover the spread last night with their 3-point loss to the Saints. New Orleans was a -4 point favorite and man oh man was Geno Smith close to getting sacked in the end zone for a safety on that 4th down play. A safety there would’ve been one hell of a bad beat.
