Going into the offseason, cornerback was one of the Tennessee Titans’ biggest needs, but the team has completely checked off that box after acquiring L’Jarius Sneed from the Kansas City Chiefs.

Prior to the deal, the Titans were still in need of another starting boundary corner, even after the signing of Chidobe Awuzie. Not only did the Titans add that with the trade for Sneed, they added one of the best in the NFL.

While cornerback was never really on the table for the Titans in the first round, it certainly was in the second and beyond. Now, Tennessee doesn’t have to worry about the position at all in April.

Of course, the Titans are still expected to target an offensive tackle at No. 7 overall, but now they can expand their horizons after that, which is great news for a team that has no shortage of holes to fill on defense still.

Defensive line, outside linebacker, linebacker and safety are now all on the table for the Titans in the second round, assuming there is someone worth taking there.

I also wouldn’t rule out the addition of another tackle, depending on what else the Titans do in free agency, and adding another wide receiver is conceivable, considering DeAndre Hopkins is a free agent in 2025.

And, with the Titans not having a third-round pick, a trade back from No. 38 becomes more likely.

Whatever the Titans decide to do, signing Sneed has opened up a ton of possibilities.
