Let’s try to predict the Vikings’ final win total

As we know, our Minnesota Vikings are a part of the last group of teams in the National Football League to take their bye week, and they’ll have five games remaining on the slate when they return. Right now, they have a record of 6-6, and we want everyone to call their shot about how many wins they think the purple will finish the season with.

Our friends at the DraftKings Sportsbook currently have the over/under for the Vikings final win total for this season at 8.5. A bet on the “over” is +115, while a bet on the “under” is currently -140, so it doesn’t appear that these folks think that the Vikings will get to the over on this one.

Here is the schedule for the Vikings after they come out of the bye:

• Week 14: at Las Vegas Raiders
• Week 15: at Cincinnati Bengals (Saturday afternoon)
• Week 16: vs Detroit Lions
• Week 17: vs Green Bay Packers
• Week 18: at Detroit Lions

On paper, it looks like the Vikings should be able to hit the over on this one. However, given the way that the team has looked in their last two games, it’s really difficult to just assume that they’re going to get there.
