Nik Needham last played in Week 6 of the 2022 NFL season.

The Miami Dolphins announced a pair of roster moves on Tuesday, activating cornerback Nik Needham off the physically unable to perform list while placing guard Isaiah Wynn on injured reserve.

Needham suffered an Achilles tendon tear against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6 of the 2022 season. He will return to action with 192 tackles and six interceptions since signing with the Dolphins as an undrafted college free agent on May 9, 2019.

Wynn played just five snaps against the Philadelphia Eagles before suffering a quad injury. The former Georgia Bulldog has allowed just four quarterback hurries in 392 snaps at left guard, according to PFF. He must miss at least four games until he’s eligible to return to the active roster.

The Dolphins list Robert Jones as the backup left guard, but Lester Cotton, the team’s third-string center, filled on at left guard. Miami’s offensive line was one of the league’s best units early in the season, but a third injury to the unit will impact the game plan.
