Saturday Open Thread

Good Morning!

Welcome to any 49ers fans who found our Saturday Open Thread; please note the rules below because we have standards…..very low standards. Consistent with our open thread policy of welcoming fans from other teams, please state your favorite beer, list any smoker or crockpot recipes and post a gif or two.

I looked at last Saturday’s Open Thread, I had a predicted a win over the Packers of 30-24 (actual score 34-31) so I’m going on another limb today and calling for a Vikings win over the 49ers 31-30; if the Vikings lose feel free to call me a moran on Monday and fire up the mock drafts for a GM/HC combination.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

2021 NFL Week 12: Minnesota Vikings at San Francisco 49ers.

Vikings Insights After 10 Games.

Vikings at 49ers: Final injury reports for both teams.

Vikings place Everson Griffen on Non-Football Illness Reserve List.

Vikings news from other sources:

From Vikings.com: Head Coach Mike Zimmer addressed the media from the TCO Performance Center on Friday on Accounting For Bosa and Samuel, New Faces On The D-Line, Need To Cause More Turnovers and More.

There’s more in the media vault, cheque it out.

From The Vikings Gazette: The Purple PTSD Recap: A More Imaginative Offense, Penalties Galore, and Cam Bynum’s Emergence.

League News:

NFL injury updates, latest league news from Friday, Nov. 26

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
