NFL 2021 Week 5: Afternoon games open thread

Let’s watch some football!

The Washington Football Team hosted the New Orleans Saints earlier today. The last place Philadelphia Eagles visited the Carolina Panthers. The other two NFC East teams have a big game today. The New York Giants visit the Dallas Cowboys and they are big road underdogs. The last time Dak Prescott played the Giants he broke his ankle in Week 5 and missed the rest of the 2020 season. He’s not putting up the gaudy yardage numbers he was last year, but he has been more efficient.

FOX also features another big division game between the red-hot Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers. Trey Lance will be getting his first start today, and will look to give the Cardinals their first loss of the season. on CBS we have an interesting game between the 3-1 Cleveland Browns and the 3-1 Los Angeles Chargers. The final game features Justin Fields and the 2-2 Chicago Bears visiting the 3-1 Las Vegas Raiders.
