Pick who you think is a nincompoop this week. This is supposed to be fun, relax and enjoy.

Chris Tomasson – Why is Chris a Nincompoop? For those of you who don’t know, Chris is a beat writer for St. Paul Pioneer Press. He is a common target of Zimmer over the years and many of the fans. He generally does a decent job, but after the win he couldn’t resist asking a question in his normal way. “How does it feel to finally get a win over Seattle and Russell Wilson?” Zimmer didn’t react kindly to his question and ended the press conference. I love it.

Cam Dantzler – Why is Cam a Nincompoop? Minutes after the win he tweeted his displeasure in not seeing the field. “I’m tired of biting my tongue about this whole situation fr…..” I get that you want to see the field and Breeland hasn’t been playing well in front of you. However, wrong place and wrong time. He has since deleted the tweet, but too late.

Pete Carroll – Why is Pete a Nincompoop? Back to back weeks his teams have blown double digit leads. They were up 24-9 at the half against Tennessee last week and lost 33-30. They were up 17-7 early this week and didn’t score again with 23 unanswered points from the Vikes. Gotta say, you’re getting out coached if your team is good enough to build a lead, but you can’t keep it back to back weeks.

Pessimistic Petes/Debbie Downers – Why are the PP/DDs Nincompoops? It is a long season, giving up after two weeks is bad. I get down and I get worried about the next week, but saying the season is over is wrong. The Vikes might lose the next 8 games and be the worst team ever, but saying it with such definition is crazy. This team has been close to winning the first two games and just blew out a pretty decent opponent. Relax, even if this week is a loss.

Normally I have 5 recommendations, but I think those are good. I am in a good mood after the win. Skol

Last Week’s Results

  1. Greg Joseph 45%
  2. Mike Zimmer 36%
  3. Bashaud Breeland 16%
  4. Rashod Hill 2%
  5. Mackensie Alexander 1%
