Wow! What a game, and what a relief. The Seahawks avoided sliding to 1-3 with a huge 28-21 win in Santa Clara on Sunday afternoon, making improvements on both sides of the ball. Let’s check out what the team had to say after the game, starting with a few quick injury updates from coach Carroll about Cedric Ogbuehi, Jamarco Jones, and Carlos Dunlap.
Pete Carroll said Jamarco Jones was set to start at RT before he felt ill again yesterday and this morning. He was in and out of last week’s game with the same illness, which is making him sick to this stomach. Carroll said it’s not COVID but they don’t know what it is.

The game against San Francisco produced a number of vintage Russell Wilson moments, including his spinning touchdown to Freddie Swain. Here’s Duane Brown’s reaction.

The game was special for Wilson for reasons beyond his play on the field, though. With the win, he continued his streak of never having lost three games in a row, and also became the fastest quarterback in NFL history to 100 regular season wins.

Jamal Adams made waves with his solid play today against George Kittle, as well as with his outfit at the presser.
