The 2020 undrafted free agent has appeared in 27 NFL games with Green Bay.

After one month in Foxborough, Patrick Taylor is heading back to his first NFL stop.

The Green Bay Packers re-signed the running back off the New England Patriots’ practice squad on Monday.

Taylor, 25, entered the league with Green Bay as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The Memphis product went on to appear in 27 games from there. This regular season, he served as a three-time standard elevation before being promoted to the 53-man roster in October. A week after clearing waivers, a workout and an agreement with New England followed.

The 6-foot-2, 217-pound Taylor stands with 166 snaps on offense and 198 snaps on special teams in his career. His time in the NFC North has brought 151 rushing yards, 48 receiving yards and one touchdown across 52 touches from scrimmage.

The Patriots were awarded running back JaMycal Hasty off waivers from the Jacksonville Jaguars prior to the bye. The rest of the active depth chart includes starter Rhamondre Stevenson along with veterans Ezekiel Elliott and Ty Montgomery.

Kevin Harris, a sixth-round draft choice in 2022, rounds out the backfield on the practice squad.

The New York Giants host Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at MetLife Stadium.
