Riley Patterson previously visited New England on Sept. 30.

Rookie kicker Riley Patterson revisited the New England Patriots on Friday.

The organization hosted the undrafted Memphis product for a second workout, per Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus and Mike Reiss of ESPN, after previously doing so on Sept. 30.

Patterson, 22, appeared in 52 games to go 64-of-83 on field goals with a long of 56 yards during his Tigers career. Also accrued were 240 extra points, 295 kickoffs and an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl, where he would be named the top specialist for the National team.

The Minnesota Vikings signed Patterson at the conclusion of the 2021 NFL draft in May. He reached a settlement and was waived from injured reserve in August.

Incumbent Patriots kicker Nick Folk has recently been listed as limited and questionable due to a left knee issue. And behind the reigning AFC Special Teams Player of the Week, Michigan product Quinn Nordin has resided on injured reserve due to an abdomen issue for the past month.

New England’s practice squad stands at 16 with the Dallas Cowboys set to arrive at Gillette Stadium for a 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff Sunday.
