Raider Nation baseball poll: Dodgers or Giants?

Who are you rooting for in this historic MLB series?

It is Friday and we’ve had (more to come) a full day of Las Vegas Raiders coverage at Silver and Black Pride.

Let’s have a little light-hearted fun and figure out where your baseball fandom lies.

Tonight, a historic Major League Baseball series commences when the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants open a National League divisional series. It’s the first time these two long-time rivals will face each other in the postseason. Plus, these two teams combined for 213 wins in the regular season. It’s the most of any postseason series ever. Yes, including the World Series.

It should be epic.

Who are you rooting for?

The Raider Nation is everywhere so not all Raiders’ fans automatically are Oakland As fans, though a lot (including my wife) are. Of course, as we were reminded Monday night that the Raiders also own Los Angeles — so many, many Raiders fans are Dodgers fans.

But I also know many Raiders fans who also love the Giants. because they may hail from parts of Northern California other than the East Bay. So, take our poll and let us know who you are rooting for. I expect this to be a heavy-Dodgers poll with the Giants getting less than 25 percent of the vote.

If you want to know why are we talking baseball on a football blog, lighten up. It’s all about having fun and getting to know people in this community better.
