Big South Dakota State offensive lineman interests Las Vegas

Among the draft prospects the Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly bringing in is South Dakota State offensive lineman Garret Greenfield.

Let’s take a closer look at Greenfield:

Size:

6-6, 311 pounds.

College highlights:

He was a six-season player in the program. He was a two-time team captain. He was an All-American the past three seasons and a key part of FCS National champion the past two seasons.

Traits:

He’s athletic for a such a big man and he’s played a lot of good football at the small-school level. He played at the Shrine game and he was invited to the NFL Combine where he set an all-time record for offensive linemen at combine with a vertical jump of 38.5.

How he’d fit in with Raiders:

He would be a developmental player who has the athleticism and size that teams seek.

What’s his draft range?

Many scouts this he is a backup-type player who will likely get drafted in the fifth-seventh rounds.
