There is hope Las Vegas’ left tackle can play in huge game

The Las Vegas Raiders began the practice week in preparation of a big AFC West game against the division-leading Kansas City Chiefs (kickoff is 1:25 p.m. PT Sunday) without one their best players.

Defensive end Maxx Crosby didn’t practice because of a knee issue. It has happened before, but he is usually limited on Wednesday. It’s not known how serious the issue it is. Often, Raiders’ players play after not working on Wednesday. Rest could be a big part of it for Crosby, who rarely comes off the field. The Raiders aren’t practicing Thursday because the players are off for Thanksgiving. So, the extra day of rest could help. Friday practices are usually lighter work outs.
