Sunday the Seattle Seahawks took on the San Francisco 49ers in a game that would see the loser drop into last place in the NFC West. Things started out rough for the Hawks, with the 49ers led right down the field by Jimmy Garoppolo to take a 7-0 lead early, but Seattle then settled down and played like an actual football team in making a game of things.

Following a second quarter touchdown by DK Metcalf sent the game to half tied at seven, the Seahawks scored twice in the third quarter to bolt out to a 14-point lead. The 49ers quickly answered on a busted coverage which allowed rookie Trey Lance to connect with Deebo Samuel on a 76-yard touchdown pass.

After a missed extra point, Seattle came back and answered with their own touchdown, a 14-yard scamper by 2016 fifth round pick Alex Collins. From there it simply became a matter of the Seahawks keeping Lance under wraps and not allowing San Francisco to mount a comeback.

At the end of the day, Seattle prevailed 28-13, giving Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson the 100th regular season win of his career. Wilson reached 100 regular season wins since being drafted faster than any other quarterback in NFL history, attaining his 100th career win in the fourth start of the tenth season of his career.
