Raiders fans excited about the future of the franchise

The Las Vegas Raiders ended their season on a high note, beating the Broncos 27-14 at home. Winning the last game of the season allowed Antonio Pierce to finish his interim tenure with a winning record of 5-4.

As the Raiders head to the offseason, the search for a general manager has begun. Five candidates have been interviewed, but the coaching process has not started. Pierce and Champ Kelly have a good chance of retaining their positions. However, big names like Jim Harbaugh and Mike Vrabel could swing Mark Davis differently.

The latest news from NFL.com insiders about Maxx Crosby adds intensity to Davis’s decision. Davis has to consider having a dispute with one of his franchise players. Even though players can have input into decisions, Davis and his GM will have the final say.

In this week’s SB Nation Reacts, we ask your confidence in the Raider’s direction. 73% of Raiders fans have confidence in the team’s direction.

The offseason is essential for the Raiders coming off an 8-9 season where they overachieved. Can they build on the young talent and become a playoff contender? Raiders have to pick the general manager and coach first.
