Crosby will be repairing his thumb and knee

The Las Vegas Raiders offseason wouldn’t be proper without them making headlines. It started again on Friday as word got around that Maxx Crosby might request a trade if Antonio Pierce isn’t retained as head coach.

Crosby addressed the issue on his podcast, saying, “Nothing is off the table” when asked what he would do if Antonio Pierce was not the head coach.

One of the other items of interest on the podcast was Crosby’s injuries. The former Eastern Michigan star was only played in the NFL to play with a doubtful designation this season.

During the podcast, he announced he would be having surgery on his knee and thumb.

Crosby’s performance at a high level with a knee injury displays his toughness. As a leader of the Raiders defense, his demeanor is rubbing off on the players around him. They helped the Raiders have their best defense in over 20 years.

If Davis hires a different coach than Pierce, they must find other ways to keep Crosby Happy. That could involve making him the highest-paid edge rusher in football.
