Raiders didn’t believe later round QB prospects were better than their current room.

The Las Vegas Raiders completed their draft on Saturday, adding dynamic talent to the roster. However, the main buzz before the draft was at quarterback, and the Raiders did not take a single one.

They did add an undrafted quarterback, Carter Bradley, for a camp body. Most fans were expecting the team to go all out for a quarterback. Telesco didn’t see many players available during the draft who were better than their current quarterback room.

During his final press conference on the draft, Telesco gave his thoughts on the Raiders QB situation overall.

“On the third day? No. Really not the second day either. The first day, yes. But not after that. If we felt there was a quarterback out there that was better than we had, or could potentially be better, certainly we would have done something out it. But it didn’t line up.”

It was the first round or bust for Telesco. The Raiders feel they can win with Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew having a battle during training camp. They seem to better on the potential of O’Connell taking a leap and having Minshew as insurance.

Hopefully, one of the quarterbacks can take advantage of the talent around them.
