Week sixteen’s Sunday Night Football features a showdown between two NFC North rivals. The Minnesota Vikings will travel to Wisconsin to take in the Green Bay Packers this evening.
Minnesota comes into this week holding onto second place in their division with zero chance to catch the Green Bay Packers. Minnesota holds the eighth spot in the NFC’s playoff standings, thus giving them a legitimate shot at making the playoffs with a win over the Packers this evening.
Green Bay enters the week with a comfortable lead in their division at five games giving them the division championship long before the playoffs. As to the NFC’s playoff standing the Packers enter this week holding the first spot in the NFC’s seeding.
