The Tennessee Titans (5-2) continue to inch toward their massive AFC showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs (5-2) at Arrowhead in Week 9.

Yesterday, both teams gave us their first glimpse at how banged up each other is heading into Sunday night. Per usual, the Titans’ Wednesday report was filled with a handful of limited and/or did not participate designations.

This isn’t uncommon for them; they often use the first practice day of the week as a ramp-up period for those that are dealing with something. The injury reports over the next two days will be the most telling.

Jeffery Simmons and Amani Hooker were among those who didn’t practice at all yesterday, so it bears watching to see how those two progress over the next two days.

As for those that were officially listed as limited on Wednesday, Ryan Tannehill, Derrick Henry, and Aaron Brewer were amongst them.

Fortunately, Henry’s limited participation seems more precautionary than anything after he said he feels fine while also confirming that he will play.

However, the team is being much more secretive when it comes to their starting quarterback. Therefore, these injury reports over the coming days will probably be our best indication as to where Tannehill is trending.

Having said all that, let’s take a look at Thursday’s injury reports for two AFC divisional leaders.
