Our Thanksgiving Day Football thread is now open. Are you taking the 49ers or Seahawks?

Today’s final Thanksgiving game features an NFC West clash between the visiting San Francisco 49ers and the host Seattle Seahawks.

DraftKings Sportsbook has the 49ers as 7.5-point favorites over the Seahawks.

This is an open thread for game chat.

Below some of the BTB staff made game picks using Tallysight. Check them out and the explanation for the picks.

Dave Halprin: I would like for the Seahawks to win because I still think Dallas has an outside chance at the top seed in the NFC, but the 49ers will prevail. It will be close, with Seattle losing by three.

Tom Ryle: Unfortunately, San Francisco has come roaring back and are poised to be a hurdle at some point in the playoffs for Dallas. Seattle is struggling of late, and this will probably be an easy win for the resurgent 49ers.

David Howman: Geno Smith got banged up in Sunday’s loss to the Rams, and while it looks like he’ll play Thursday, that’s not a good combo when facing this San Francisco defense. I think Seattle puts up a good fight but ultimately loses to the 49ers 28-20.

Matt Holleran: Even if Geno Smith does play in this game this one isn’t going to be close. The 49ers have gotten over their mid-season slump and are back to looking like juggernauts. They roll here and win this one with ease. Give me the 49ers, 30-13.

Brian Martin: San Francisco looks to have bounced back from their slump and once again looks to be one of the better and more complete teams in the entire league. I don’t foresee Seattle giving them very much trouble. I’ll take the 49ers by three scores.

RJ Ochoa: It feels like the internet loves the Seahawks which means Thursday night could be uncomfortable. The 49ers have re-found their form and look like the team you absolutely do not want to run into. There is no way San Francisco is losing this game. I’ll take them somewhere around 33-10.

OCC: I begrudgingly concede that the 49ers may have found something in Brock Purdy and reluctantly pick them for the win.
