The Tennessee Titans have had their fair share of struggles on both sides of the ball in 2023.

Offensively, the offensive line is horrendous, the pass-catchers not named DeAndre Hopkins are below average, and Tennessee’s quarterback is a rookie.

The running backs are the only consistent aspect of the offense, but even their impact is being limited by the inconsistent run-blocking.

Defensively, the group has underperformed on practically every level.

Unsurprisingly, both units rank in the bottom half of the league in nearly every major statistical category.

It’s no secret that stats without context can occasionally be misleading, but those numbers are a pretty good depiction of just how much the Titans are struggling this season.

Another indication of just how poor the Titans are performing is their rankings when it comes to advanced metrics.

According to RBSDM, the Titans rank in the bottom five in several defensive categories while also ranking in the bottom 10 offensively in a few critical areas.

Needless to say, that’s less than ideal.

Listed below are the Titans’ offensive and defensive numbers after 11 weeks. I’ve also added a glossary before the rankings to help explain a couple of key terms that are used pretty frequently.

Now that all of that has been covered, let’s take a peek at where Tennessee stands heading into this weekend’s game versus the Carolina Panthers.
