As we slowly inch toward the 2023 NFL draft, it’s time to see where the Tennessee Titans stand now that the first wave of free agency is behind us.

The Titans have already made several notable additions this offseason, most notably being Andre Dillard, Arden Key, and Sean Murphy-Bunting.

These moves didn’t steal the headlines by any means, but Tennessee was able to add several starting-caliber players to its roster that also possess a ton of untapped potential.

The best part about these acquisitions is the fact that Dillard, Key and Murphy-Bunting all have reasonable cap hits in 2023 due to the way the contracts were structured with void years, signing bonuses, etc.

Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the rest of the roster. The Titans have some high-priced contracts on their books, and to make matters worse, they’re stuck paying a nauseating amount of dead money to players that aren’t even on the team anymore.

In fact, of the top-25 cap hits for 2023, six of them are from players who are no longer on the team after they were cut this offseason. In all, Tennessee will be paying out a whopping $36.8 million in dead money this year.

Let’s see who those players are, along with the rest of the Titans who make up the team’s biggest cap hits after the first two weeks of free agency.
