There has been a lot of talk about the Tennessee Titans trading back from their No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft, but what might a trade back in the second round look like?

That’s something ESPN’s Field Yates and Mel Kiper explored in their three-round mock draft that has Tennessee moving back from No. 38 overall in a trade with the New York Giants.

In the deal, the Titans receive pick Nos. 47 (second round) and 70 (third round) in exchange for pick Nos. 38 (second round) and 146 (fifth round).

This trade would net Tennessee the third-round pick it currently doesn’t have, and the Titans aren’t making too big of a leap backwards to get it, so this is a winning approach in my book.

But what the Titans are getting in the trade isn’t enough in and of itself. The team has to actually make the right picks in those spots. Let’s see who the ESPN duo mocked to Tennessee at all three selections.
