In the annals of Tennessee Titans history, former left tackle Andre Dillard will go down as one of the very worst free-agent signings the franchise has ever made.

Dillard was signed to a three-year, $29 million deal last offseason to be the left tackle, but things went as badly as one could imagine. He gave up a league-high 12 sacks in 16 games (10 starts) and was benched on multiple occasions.

One of the most embarrassing moments of his tenure came when he was beat like a drum by Cleveland Browns edge rusher Myles Garrett, who then offered Dillard advice following the game, according to Dillard himself.

There was some thought that perhaps the Titans would give it another go with Dillard in some form or fashion after hiring esteemed offensive line coach Bill Callahan, but not even that was enough to save him.

Of course, Titans Twitter was always going to have a field day with Dillard signing elsewhere after what transpired last season. Here’s how Titans Twitter reacted to the news.
