Washington’s injuries piled up in Atlanta

Update: Brandon Scherff and Logan Thomas injury news

Washington has experienced one of their healthiest offseasons/seasons in years. Their injury reports have been consistently small, and they even got Chris Samuel on the field for the first time yesterday. That low injury rate took a big hit, and now we have to wait to see if any players will miss time.

Players were leaving the field early and often for Washington when they visited the Atlanta Falcons. Starting tight end Logan Thomas pulled up with a hamstring injury after playing 5 snaps. LB Cole Holcomb left the game, but returned and played 85% of the snaps on defense. Brandon Scherff had his knee rolled up on during an extra point attempt. WRs Dyami Brown(knee) and Cam Sims(hamstring) were also ruled out. And Torry McTyer suffered a knee injury that didn’t look good on the final throwaway play of the game.

One injury could potentially be pretty serious, and affects the defense, happened to LB Jon Bostic. He left the game with a shoulder injury, and this morning it was reported that he has a pec injury that is feared to be serious. Bostic will get an MRI today, but the report does not sound good for the team captain.
