Week 13 Madden simulations sees Dallas Cowboys beat Seattle Seahawks on walkoff touchdown

Madden has the Cowboys winning in dramatic fashion this week.

The Dallas Cowboys are about to play their second straight Thursday game, it is a rhythm and routine that we have all grown accustomed to around here over the last several years.

Incidentally this is not only the second straight Thursday game for the Cowboys but also the second straight game against a Washington football team. Last week saw Dallas host the Washington Commanders and this week will see them square off against the Seattle Seahawks. Forgive me for taking the low-hanging fruit.

Oddsmakers believe that Dallas will make quick and easy work of the Seahawks, but this is the NFL and anything can happen. What is most likely to happen, though? As we always do, we have run a simulation of this game in Madden 24 and the game believes that Dallas wins, but in dramatic fashion.

Notable Madden statistics:

• Dak Prescott: 21 of 26, 237 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 1 interception
• Tony Pollard: 14 carries, 76 yards
• Brandin Cooks: 7 receptions, 102 yards, 1 touchdown
• CeeDee Lamb: 5 receptions, 49 yards, 2 touchdowns including the game-winner in overtime

As noted CeeDee Lamb had the game-winning touchdown which the Cowboys needed after Seattle kicked a field goal to start overtime. Dallas is currently favored by way more than three points so Madden has them winning but not covering.

Of course, it’s not like Madden has been on fire this season when predicting Cowboys games.

The scores are a much more difficult thing to predict obviously, but even as far as who will win the game Madden is below .500 this season (fitting since the subject of being below .500 has been such a popular talking point around the Cowboys).

Hopefully things are not as tense as the game believes they will be and Dallas cruises to an easy win on Thursday night.
