With the NFL draft less than three weeks away, it feels highly likely that the Jets will draft an offensive player in the first round. If the Jets go the weapon route, Bowers is the current odds-on favorite to be the pick, but next in line is arguably Rome Odunze. The Washington standout earned national recognition in 2023 for his outrageously impressive skills in contested catch situations. Now, Odunze is a potential top-10 pick who will seek to translate his contested catch dominance to the NFL.

While Odunze has a chance of slipping to No. 10, it’s not guaranteed, which means the Jets may have to trade up to acquire him.
