The Jacksonville Jaguars offense is finally starting to roll.

In a 24-21 win against the Houston Texans, the Jaguars finished with more than 300 net passing yards for the first time in the 2023 season. Jacksonville scored just two touchdowns in the win, though.

Trevor Lawrence hoisted the ball across the goal line for a 1-yard rushing touchdown early in the game and later threw a go-ahead touchdown pass to Calvin Ridley.

On Monday night, the Jaguars will face a Cincinnati Bengals defense that hasn’t had much success and ranks 31st in yards allowed.

One of the most popular ways to bet on an NFL game is the anytime touchdown scorer prop. You bet on one player to score a touchdown, and if they do, you make money.

Sounds simple, right?

It’s not as easy as it seems, but it is rewarding when the player you bet does find the end zone – especially if he plays for your team.

With the Jaguars facing the Bengals on Monday, we’ve highlighted one player you should bet to score a touchdown this week. Odds are courtesy of BetMGM.

D’Ernest Johnson anytime TD scorer: +400

The Jaguars will try to run the ball often against a Bengals defense that is dead last in rushing yards allowed this season.

While that will mean a large dose of Travis Etienne Jr. carries, the Jaguars’ starting running back is also nursing a ribs injury and doesn’t present a ton of value at -150 to score a touchdown. Johnson offers a lot more and has seen his role expand in recent weeks.

After getting 12 touches in the Jaguars’ first eight games, Johnson has 21 touches in the last three, including a pair of receptions that picked up more than 30 yards each.

Expect Johnson to get a solid amount of opportunities to find the end zone for the first time in a teal uniform.
