Normally these are all about everything that’s happened on Twitter from Wednesday, but this week I have to start with ESPN’s 30-for-30, “Bullies of Baltimore.”

Last Sunday night’s documentary was incredibly fun, and as a fan who doesn’t remember any of the legendary 2000 defense, I thought it was amazing. In fact, I’m re-watching it with a roommate as I write this now.

Of course there were a number of amazing moments the defensive unit delivered, but what really stood out to me were the personalities. We knew about Ray and Shannon Sharpe, but getting at closer look at Brian Billick and Goose in particular, that was special.

I do want to keep you all in the loop, however, so let’s get to Wednesday’s activity.

First and foremost, it was the anniversary of Baltimore’s move from Cleveland:

On top of that, there were some Ravens in the media at the Super Bowl week’s events. One who got a good deal of attention was TE Mark Andrews, mostly for his thoughts on Lamar Jackson’s contract:

I feel good about Andrews’ words, but I do wonder how much he really knows. You have to assume both sides are keeping things hush. Still, Andrews is willing to empty his own pockets to keep his signal-caller:

Andrews has made his own name in Ravens franchise history, though. He’s a fan favorite and one of the NFL’s best already, but Andrews can cement his legacy next season:

Will Jackson be throwing Andrews the ball next season? That’s still TBD. Regardless, the Ravens have a real good weapon in their stud TE.

I do hope Andrews is right, and I’m still in the boat that the two sides are closer than many think. Still, the rumors are swirling:

If Baltimore isn’t able to reach a deal with Jackson and teams offer too much to decline a trade, the Ravens may well need to look to free agency for their bridge QB. Spencer Schultz feels they could end up with journeyman Jacoby Brissett.

I’d be a fan of this move if it does go that way. Brissett understands the game and understands his own strengths and weakneses, but also has the ability to win games. Brissett played fairly well for the Browns this year, and if the Ravens have to develop a young guy for the future, I think he’d be the perfect guy between Jackson and whoever’s next.

Like I said, though, I want Jackson in Baltimore for the long-term. Ramey says it well, the team is really close to being a contender again:

He lays out my own offseason plan perfectly. It just so happens that one of the steps may already be underway:

I really can’t believe Bienemy would ever consider leaving Kansas City for Baltimore, but if he wants to take the job, the Ravens shouldn’t hesitate.

As for Lamar himself, he laid out his latest social media troll of #RavensFlock late last night…

WHAT DOES IT MEAAAAN???

(nothing. it means nothing.)
