Join us here as Green Bay visits Buffalo to wrap up the preseason.

Jordan Love is set to return. The Green Bay Packers’ second-year quarterback will be back on the field today as the team wraps up its preseason slate of games with an early kickoff against the Buffalo Bills.

It’s Love vs. Josh Allen (at least for a series or two) in a battle of athletic, smaller-school, first-round quarterbacks drafted two years apart. Allen, who battled questions about his accuracy coming out of Wyoming in 2018, has developed into one of the NFL’s best passers and was a legitimate MVP candidate for much of last season. Love, the Packers’ top pick in 2020, will be starting his second preseason game after riding the bench as a rookie.

Of course, that storyline, if one can even stretch to call it that, is entirely irrelevant in the grand scheme of the game. Instead, Packers fans should be focused on the battle for the two starting guard positions on the offensive line and players on the roster bubble. Will Malik Taylor earn a spot on the 53-man roster as a sixth wide receiver? Who will claim a job at cornerback behind the top four or five options? And can an undrafted defensive lineman or edge rusher make some splash plays and lock up a job?

Tune in to NFL Network this afternoon to find out and follow along with updates from today’s game below as we discuss in the comments.
