Panthers listed amongst odds-on favorites to land 49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk

There’s little to no doubt that the Carolina Panthers will be adding at least one more wide receiver by the end of next week. But could that wide receiver come by way of a blockbuster deal?

Well, the folks over at BetOnline.ag seem to think there’s a chance—as they’ve included the Panthers amongst the odds-on favorites to land Brandon Aiyuk.

Per their fresh listing, Carolina is tied with the New England Patriots as the second-likeliest suitor for the 26-year-old pass catcher if he does not return to the San Francisco 49ers.

Aiyuk’s status in San Francisco has grown somewhat uncertain, as the 2023 second-team All-Pro and the defending NFC champions have yet to strike a long-term deal. The former first-round pick is coming off the best campaign of his four-year NFL career, having reeled in 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns.
