Panthers’ updated 53-man roster following Tuesday’s signing of Dicaprio Bootle

After this weekend, Carolina Panthers cornerback Dicaprio Bootle had been brought up from the practice squad to the game-day roster for three consecutive weeks. By NFL rule, the three elevations triggered an ultimatum for the team—as they’d either have to sign the young defender to their active roster or place him on waivers.

On Tuesday, they chose the former.
