Each week, Matera will make his Bucs picks on Underdog Fantasy and share them with those that want to get in on the action as well. He’ll give his analysis and reasoning for each pick and what selections to make.

While we focus on player props, we also look at the spread and the over/under for the Bucs game. Matera points you in the right direction for whether the Bucs will cover the spread and if enough points will be scored. We also make picks for the rest of the NFL too!

Matera continues to have a hot start to begin the season by going 5-3-1 on his NFL picks last week, making his total 10-5-1. After another 2-0 record on the Bucs’ spread and O/U he is undefeated picking Bucs games on the season at 4-0. Also, he’s 4-1 on players props so he loads up with a number of picks with the Bucs on Monday night football in primetime!

It’s time to double up on the player props after getting off to a great start! The Bucs are going to have to be very creative in running against the Eagles defensive front, so I believe they’re going to get their wide receivers in more end arounds and sweeps. That means less opportunities for Rachaad White, who will have a tough time on your usual run plays.

There’s one area of the field that the Bucs can really exploit against the Eagles and that’s the middle of the field against their slot corner. Through two games Chris Godwin has been very steady with five catches per game. Can he got more than that this week? I like his chances.

If the Bucs are going to keep it close, it’ll be their defense that is the reason why. It’s never going to be easy against Jalen Hurts, but they can get him scrambling and play stingy in the red zone. The Eagles’ player props reflect it.
