Bill Cowher is a busy guy. And things are about to get even busier. If you haven’t heard, the ex-Steelers head coach is headed into the Pro Football Hall of Fame next month.

Located in Canton, Ohio, the Hall of Fame is two hours northwest of where Cowher grew up in Crafton, Pa. He’ll have plenty of people to see and places to go, especially being so close to his hometown. One of those places will be the Steelers-Cowboys Hall of Fame Game at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium on Aug. 5.

Speaking to Steelers media on a Zoom call on Tuesday, Cowher said jokingly that he’d like to put on a headset for one final time.

“Let me call one play, let me call one blitz,” said Cowher, per Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Brian Batko. “I’ll have Dick LeBeau with me, too. We’ll call one blitz, see if we can get Mike [Tomlin] to run one. It will be fun.”

The Hall of Fame Game, rescheduled from 2020, kicks off the 2021 NFL preseason on Thursday, Aug. 5, at 8 p.m. ET.
