Pros and cons of each Bears offensive coordinator candidate

The Chicago Bears are hard at work trying to find their next offensive coordinator for the 2024 season. In the 10 days since the team parted ways with Luke Getsy after an underwhelming 2023 season, they have interviewed or requested to interview nine candidates, ranging from longtime offensive assistants like Greg Olson to up-and-coming college coordinators like Liam Coen.

Head coach Matt Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles are leaving no stone unturned as they search for the person who can get the most out of an offense that has a major decision at quarterback. Each candidate has something to offer, but not all of them are perfect fits for the job.

It’s a tough and important decision, and when you’re presented with a situation such as this, why not make a pros and cons list? We decided to do just that, listing the positives and negatives we associate with each known candidate.
