The Eagles’ young WR is looking good!
One of the standouts early in training camp has been second-year receiver Quez Watkins, and it didn’t take long into the Eagles’ first preseason game to see what the hype was about. Watkins scored the first touchdown of the night late in the first quarter against the Steelers, took a short pass from Joe Flacco, and ran it 79 yards to the house.

Just look at that speed!
Watkins played in six games last season, and had just one touchdown on seven carries — with 106 total yards. He spent a lot of time with Jalen Hurts this offseason and the chemistry is already paying off. The young WR is pushing to be in the starting rotation once the regular season opens and, with his speed, he should be someone who contributes a lot.
Sure, it’s just the preseason, but the Eagles going up 10-0 in the first quarter is a good sign of things to come — well, hopefully.
