Last dress rehearsal before the games begin!

The Los Angels Rams and the Denver Broncos will face off in the last preseason game before the final roster cuts and the start of the regular season.

Watch the game on ABC7 at 6:05pm PDT

By now we’ve gotten to know many of these depth and roster bubble players through the first two games. Here are some positions groups to keep an eye on.

Quarterback

Coach Sean McVay decided at half time during the last preseason game to keep Bryce Perkins in to finish the game instead of putting Devlin Hodges in to take over. Hodges was cut in the following days making Perkins the clear number three QB and the likely four quarter signal caller for the game against the Broncos. He has shown flashes of skill primarily with his agility and his ability to close with passing attacks in the redzone. Perkins also showed some limitation in his ability to throw downfield shorting Rams Fans of the first highlight deep pass to rookie speedster Tutu Atwell. What will Perkins make of his last showcase game?

Running Back

Xavier Jones and Jake Funk battled through the last two games to establish their position as the number two and three running backs behind Darrell Henderson Jr. But now things have changed with the addition of former New England Patriots running back Sony Michel. McVay and General Manager Les Snead have told reporters that Michel is projected to play a complimentary role to Henderson. Which means Jones and Funk are now competing for the third and fourth spot in the depth. Will McVay keep four backs on the roster? Who will show out in this game to become RB3?

Linebackers

Reports say that Terrell Lewis had a healthy and productive practice. Will we get to see Lewis in action against the Broncos? Will Chris Garrett or Justin Lawler have another standout game to make their case to move up the depth chart? How about rookie Earnest Jones? If we get to see him match up against starters, will he do enough to warrant some regular season snaps?

Enjoy the game and let us know what you think in the comments.
