The Rams added to an already full position group when it was announced by his agency that former UCF running back Otis Anderson Jr. signed with the Rams earlier this week.

Anderson was a four-year contributor for the Knights who made his mark on both offense and special teams as a punt returner. He finished his career with 2,182 yards rushing and 17 touchdowns while adding 91 receptions for another 1,025 yards and nine scores through the air.

He’s more of a scat back in the NFL with his 5’8, 179-pound frame but he’ll most likely have a shot at making the team as a potential return man after averaging 12.3 yards per punt return in college.

With Cam Akers and Darrell Henderson firmly at the top of the depth chart and Xavier Jones/Jake Funk already backing them up, time will tell whether or not there’s enough room for all these backs when the season comes.

And now for today’s links.
