As you probably know by now the Los Angeles Rams lost Sunday’s contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The ending of the game was a bit controversial as the Steelers sealed the game on a close first down call, and then took knees to end the game. Did you see the play? Did you think that the officials should have reviewed the play since it was so close? How did you feel about the outcome of the game?

Please comment on what you’d like! Unfortunately no victory Monday today, just a plain old Monday. Have a good one.

WATCH: Referees Bad Spot For Kenny Pickett Sneak Dooms Los Angeles Rams (fannation/ramsdigest)

“On 4th and 1, the Pittsburgh Steelers elected to try and QB sneak to win the game, and at first glance, it appeared they came up well short, with Kenny Pickett’s knee hitting the ground with the balls till behind the line to gain.

The referees ultimately gave the Steelers a generous spot, resulting in a first down.

However, due to the fact that the play occurred outside of two minutes remaining, and the Rams being out of timeouts, they could not challenge the spot, allowing Pittsburgh to take a knee at the two-minute warning, and run out the clock.”

“The Steelers converted on fourth-and-one on a Kenny Pickett quarterback sneak at the two-minute warning on a play that initially appeared to be just short of converting, securing the win for Pittsburgh.

Since he had no timeouts and the game was inside the two-minute warning, Rams coach Sean McVay could not challenge the play.”

“Robinson gave the robbers more than $100,000 worth of jewelry, including an expensive watch.

No arrests have been made. TMZ said Robinson is “said to now be doing OK despite the circumstances.”

Robinson, 29, spent his first six seasons with the Chiefs after being a fourth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Last year, he played with the Ravens, and he signed with the Rams this past offseason. He has appeared in five games for the Rams this season but has not had a catch.”

2023 NFL season, Week 7: What We Learned from Sunday’s games (nfl.com)

“Brett Maher’s issues might be back. We all likely remember Maher’s sudden inability to convert an extra point last offseason. He’s since rediscovered his abilities — that is, until Sunday, when he doinked a 53-yarder off the left upright, missed a PAT and then missed another field goal that never seemed to have a legitimate chance from 51 yards out. Those doing the math at home have likely realized those seven points would have made a massive difference in the 24-17 game.”
