Los Angeles Rams News and Links for 10/27/23

Kyren Williams had an abolutely dominant day for the Los Angeles Rams against the Arizona Cardinals this past Sunday. The type of day that puts him in with names like Todd Gurley and Eric Dickerson. According to ESPN, Williams is the first player for the Rams to have 100 rushing yards and two recieving touchdowns since Gurley in 2017. Apparently this was a feat also accomplished by Dickerson and Cleveland Gary. Whay a day for the young Rams running back and coming back off of injury too. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

Please comment on what you’d like and happy victory Monday!

“Williams is the first Rams player with 200 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns in a game since Todd Gurley in 2018, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. He also is just the fourth player in Rams history with 100 rushing yards and two receiving touchdowns in a game, joining Gurley (2017), Cleveland Gary (1992) and Eric Dickerson (1983).

On Friday, McVay said the Rams wanted to “be able to give [Williams] a good workload” in his return against Arizona but also wanted to be cognizant of the high number of snaps the running back was playing before he injured his ankle.”

“Rolls Royce” is back.

Royce Freeman is experiencing a career revival with Los Angeles Rams. The former Oregon Ducks’ star running back posted his best day rushing in the NFL during the Rams’ 37-14 rout of the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

Freeman ran for a 77 yards and a touchdown during the game. Freeman scored on a 23-yard run, looking like the Royce Freeman who ran for at least 1,300 yards in three of his four seasons with the Ducks.”
