The Los Angeles Rams made a move by waiving Zach VanValkenburg, but his career in the NFL seems far from over as the Rams then were able to add him to their practice squad. I am not going to pretend to know much about this player, but moves like this are exciting. This move, according to the article below, allowed the Rams to bring up Keir Thomas. So the team will get to see what Thomas and can. Maybe he and VanValkenburg will both wind up on the team together some game day (if they haven’t already).

“The Los Angeles Rams made a tweak to their outside linebacker room this week by waiving Zach VanValkenburg and signing Keir Thomas to the active roster to take his place. As expected, VanValkenburg cleared waivers and the Rams didn’t waste any time bringing him back.

On Thursday, the Rams announced they’ve signed VanValkenburg to the practice squad. So essentially, Thomas and VanValkenburg flipped places.”
