Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss’ time with the Tennessee Titans was brief and didn’t go so well, but one of his teammates during his stint in Nashville left a lasting impression on him.

Moss took to Twitter recently to say that former Titans fullback Ahmard Hall, a former Marine who spent six seasons in Tennessee, was among his favorite teammates to watch or play with during his illustrious career. That says a lot about Hall, as Moss played with some truly great players.

Former Titans running back, Chris Johnson, also praised the fullback who had a role in blocking for him during his 2,000-yard season in 2009.

“It really is a selfless position,” Hall told ESPN back in 2009. “The way the position is structured now, you’re kind of an extension of the offensive line, a guard who just happens to wear [a back’s uniform number] and to be lined up in the backfield. But that’s OK with me. I’m just happy to be playing.”

Hall signed with the Titans in 2006 after going undrafted out of Texas. He was part of the program’s 2005 National Championship team that was quarterbacked by Vince Young, another former Titan.

In all, Hall played in 85 games for the Titans during his career, totaling 24 carries for 80 yards, and 73 receptions for 561 yards and two scores.
