Rice posted videos of workouts to his official Instagram account.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid spoke to media members earlier this week as the team begins Phase One of its offseason program.

For the past few seasons, the Chiefs have stuck to a routine in Phase One: three times a week, quarterback Patrick Mahomes organizes on-field practices in his home state of Texas. Those practices take place sometime in the morning before the pass-catchers meet with Kansas City coaches via Zoom (more on those workouts here).

Reid confirmed that wide receiver Rashee Rice — who is in the midst of an off-the-field legal situation — had been participating in the video teaching portion of the offseason, but it remained somewhat unclear whether Rice was continuing to catch passes with Mahomes, at least right now.

The receiver cleared that up with videos posted to his official Instagram account on Wednesday. In them, he can be seen catching passes at a high school football facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Reid has maintained the Chiefs are still gathering information on the situation, and the important part is that Rice learned from the experience.
