The Baltimore Ravens currently have 10 selections in the 2022 NFL draft, including nine in the first four rounds. That makes for plenty of options on draft weekend, including trade ups, trade downs, or even just staying put and selecting quality playmakers.

In terms of what Baltimore needs during the draft, edge rusher and cornerback have skyrocketed to become arguably the team’s top-two needs. The 2022 class is extremely deep at pass rusher, including players like Travon Walker out of the University of Georgia.

Walker is an extremely talented athlete who can do multiple things from the edge position, including rush the passer, stop the run and be an overall disruptor. He stands at 6-foot-5 and weighs around 270 pounds, but moves extremely well for his size.

The former Georgia star has the ability to use both quickness and power. He has the speed to get around the edge, as well as the strength to shock offensive linemen as he makes his way into the backfield. He is also extremely sound in the run game, setting a nice edge and tackling effectively.

It’s unlikely that Walker falls to Baltimore at pick No. 14, but if he does then it would likely be a no-brainer pick for the Ravens to select him. He fits an area of dire need for the team, and his high level of play coupled with his limitless potential makes him one of the better fits for Baltimore’s defense.
