The Ravens physically dominated Seattle from start to finish, and a young star showed his stuff on offense.

Let’s get to the grades.

Offense

Overall: A

The Ravens had their way with the Seahawks, with an efficient passing game and bruising rushing attack. A lot to like out there.

Quarterback: A-

Lamar Jackson was in complete control, and used his arms and legs to beat Seattle in nearly every high-leverage situation. Tyler Huntley threw a nice pass to Odell Beckham Jr. for a touchdown. Yet another fumble.

Running Backs: A

Keaton Mitchell, come on down. A tremendous performance by the young running back. Gus Edwards also did his thing with limited opportunities. Justice Hill was quick. Again.

Receivers: B+

Mark Andrews had a Pro Bowl game and Beckham had arguably his best game of the year. Rashod Bateman showed good hands again. Isaiah Likely got more opportunities and produced well.

Offensive Line: A

They opened up huge holes all day, consistently reached the second level and protected Jackson (save for the sack fumble, on which Ronnie Stanley was beaten clean). A great showing. Tyler Linderbaum was in on several big plays.

Defense

Overall: A

This unit is just dominant, and today’s performance was one of its best. The pass rush was awesome. Run defense smothering. Awesome show.

Defensive Line: A

Justin Madubuike registered another sack and destroyed the dreams of several other Seahawks plays. Odafe Oweh continues to step up this year, and Travis Jones and Michael Pierce both batted down passes.

Linebackers: A-

Kyle Van Noy picked up two more sacks and caused a fumble. Patrick Queen seemed everywhere, and I won’t blame Roquan Smith much for getting beat by DK Metcalf. Tough assignment.

Defensive Backs: A

This is a great Seahawks receiving unit, and they were largely shut down. Geno Stone had yet another pick. Marlon Humphrey showed tight coverage when targeted.

Special Teams: B+

Devin Duvernay had a 24-yard punt return, and Justin Tucker was 3-3 on field goals. Jordan Stout was money again.

Coaching: A+

They won 37-3 over a good team. They get a break this week!
